Dot hosted us at the Temple Bar in Cambridge to discuss Ruth Bader Ginsberg's book, In My Own Words.
The atmosphere was warm and cozy, the food was delicious, and it was so wonderful to have Maria join us.
Ava's email sums up a great evening:
Dottie,
Thank you for hosting a wonderful meal and homage to RBG—our living legend! I loved the collars and the pins and the bookmark and all of the thoughtful and creative ways in which you continue to show your love! You are amazing.
I enjoyed discussing the book and have truly enjoyed learning about RBG’s deep commitment to equality for humankind and to changing the Constitution; so extraordinary. I was very glad that I did have the chance to see the RBG documentary and the movie “On the basis of sex” as it really made the book come alive. As always, I loved having a chance to hear everyone’s thoughts, to laugh loudly, and even pinch one another. Mostly, I am so happy and relieved for you that your precious Siggy is home and doing well.
Catching up with everyone’s news was inspiring, as always. We have such a talented group!
The book for next month, Wednesday, April 10th, is Born a Crime by Trevor Noah. We will be meeting in my home.
Have a good month. Love to all.
Xoxo,
Ava
