Margot summed up our magical evening with Len Rosen, the author of The Kortelisy Escape:
Sue:
What an absolute joy of an evening. I loved every morsel of food. I would love your recipe for the tomato soup. You always have such simple but elegant, healthy, delicious food that is fresh and perfectly cooked. You make is seem so effortless, although I appreciate that it takes a lot of work to treat all of the Babes in the manner to which they have become accustomed. The Russian doll theme at the table was perfect. And Len's presence to discuss the book made for one of the best book club meetings ever!!!!! What a gem of a person he is. Jan, I am sorry you missed it. We missed you. Sue even had a special dairy free dish in your honor.
Jane, I look forward to reading "The Widows of Malabar Hill." I have already downloaded it to my Kindle.
It was indeed a magical night. I look forward to more magic with the Babes on January 28.
